This week in third class the children learned all about trees, we spoke about photosynthesis in oral language and wrote about the process in explanation writing.
We planted carrots, watercress, aubergine and other vegetables in science and will look after them over the coming weeks until we plant them in the school garden.
During art we drew plants from observation and the children really captured the detail of the plants.
In maths we learned all about 3D shapes and the children really enjoyed the interactive game after the lesson.
The children created wonderful projects on the Normans.
Next week is active week and we are all looking to the fantastic activities planned…
