The People in Our Town

We have had lots of visitors to Senior Infants in the past few weeks. Garda Ralph came to see us and told us about life as a Garda. It was very exciting to get to ask him questions and hear his stories. He let us hold his baton and handcuffs and gave us some great pictures to colour. We also had visits from an ambulance and the local fire service. They let us climb in their vehicles and try out some of their equipment. They even let us turn on the sirens!
We have been learning all about the people who work and live in our community. We drew some great pictures and put them together with some music from the brilliant Peter Weatherall. Check out our video The People in my Town Be warned it is very catchy, you might be singing it for a while.
