In first class, as part  of our science lessons we have been learning all about the five senses.  First we talked about hearning and we listed all the different sounds around us. We picked our favourite and least favourite sounds. The next sense we looked at was sight. After learning all about sight we imagined what it would be like to be blind or partially sighted. The children were blindfolded and their partner had to guide them around. We experimented with taste this week. We talked about the different tastes we experience when eating and our favourite foods. The children were blindfolded and different foods were placed in front of them. They had to touch and smell the foods to guess what it was before tasting it. the favourites were chocolate, marshmallow and pinepapple. The least favourite were the sour lime and the yellow pepper! We had great fun!
