November has been a very busy month in second class. We began our month by welcoming Eilis into our classroom. Eilis is our Junior Achievers Volunteer this year. Junior Achievement encourages children to remain in school while introducing them to the world of work in a fun way. So far this month, the children have been learning about unit and batch production and also income tax! We have been learning about procedural writing this month in first steps. We made yummy pancakes with help from Aisling. We also learned how astronauts wash their teeth while in space. We took part in our last GAA coaching session for this year, but we really enjoyed joining in with 4th class for the training sessions. We have also been working very hard on our Christmas decorations for the School Fair next week. We are very proud of our creations and the children are really looking forward to selling. Take a look at our pictures from the month.
