The gardening club and Aisling took some pictures of the effects of Autumn on trees and plants.  We discovered that all the leaves had fallen. However, some plants were still growing. The cyclamens that we planted are suited to the Autumn.  See the picture of them in the green pot.  Unfortunately, the snow came and these lovely flowers are now dead.

We  have an innovative idea for adding lasting colour to our garden. We plan to make a mosaic out of old tiles and broken delph.  We got inspiration from a mosaic that we saw in Doyles of the Shamrock, across the road from the school. Also, we were very impressed by the work of the famous mosaics of Brett Campbell. We hope you like the video too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27gMB-Ioir0

If you have any old broken tiles or delph (plates, cups, bowls), please drop them into us. Thanks 🙂
