What a super day 3rd, 4th and Emer’s class had.. We started at The Stone Age, Megalithic tomb -The Brownshill Dolmen.. We jumped a few thousand years to the 5th century settlement in Killeshin, where the 12th century Romanesque Doorway still stands!!! We had a lunch break and enjoyed the amazing views of at least 6 counties at Oisin Park.. As if that wasn’t enough, we went to Oak Park for our autumnal nature walk.. We didn’t fit in Carlow Castle but that’s for the next adventure! The best thing is.. We were never more than 15 minutes from our school, what a great little county we live in! (Laois included!!)
