Check out our word wall of words we came up with when we were talking about the environment. As part of our theme on Japan, we’ll be looking at how Irish and Japanese people look after the environment, the Kyoto protocol and thinking of lessons we can learn from Japan.

Following this lesson, children looked at the positive and negative effects that people have on forests. We were surprised that fires in forests can have benefits to wildlife – it can be good for pollination.
