Simon set a challenge to five pupils in Eimear’s class. Using the materials on their table, they had to try and make the lightbulb light.
The very clever bunch set off and within seconds, the first of these science buffs had solved the problem!
The children learned that all lights work on a similar principle. Once everything is connected in a circuit, electricity can flow. Simon showed what would happen if we added a switch to the circuit and the group had fun practicing with that.
