‘Throughout my career in education I have worked as a teacher, home-school coordinator, principal and guidance counsellor.

I am an accredited psychotherapist (IACP).

Bullying in primary and post-primary schools was the subject for my Ph.D.

I was a member of the Government Working Party, which drew up guidelines for primary and post-primary schools on countering bullying behaviour.

I have conducted seminars and workshops with school staff, parents associations, youth leaders and young people in both schools and youth work settings

I have written books and articles on the topic of bullying including Coping with Bullying in Schools.’

We will look forward to welcoming Brendan to our school.
