Active Week came to a close with a very active day. The fantastic week organised by a group of staff and helped along by all members of the Carlow Educate Together community was a massive success. We were very lucky with the weather and it was great that we were able to take part in every activity throughout the week. Friday started with a brilliant Wake and Shake led by Vicky. After that it was time for “Penalties Against the Principal” where all the children (and staff) tried to score a goal against Simon. The Junior and Senior Infants made Simon dive all over the place but he wasn’t able to save any of their shots! After that we had a special assembly with Carlow Tennis Club. This time Simon swapped his goalie gloves for a tennis racquet for a game of volleys with John from the club! Congratulations again to everyone who took part in Active Week.
