On Monday we had a lovely visit from Mike Glynn who is involved with the Heritage in schools scheme.
The children learned all about native Irish birds, their characteristics, and how to recognise them.
We listened to each birds song and how to distinguish it from other bird songs.
We then headed out with our binoculars and telescope and managed to spot some birds and hear the bird song of a robin and a thrush.
