We have been exploring the themes of “Holidays” and “Under the Sea”. We went to the airport in Aistear and took a flight to far off lands! In the construction area, we used our new Polydron blocks to build our own aeroplane and we were off again flying high!
We read “Rainbow Fish” and “Commotion in the Ocean” and we were amazed by the variety of sea creatures hidden away beneath the waves! We were inspired to make some Sea Turtles with clay. We had great fun pulling and pinching the clay to make the turtle shape. Then we had to wait for it to dry and harden before we could decorate it. Here are some photos of our work!
