Our Student Council held their first meeting of the year today. Our current student council will be in place until next February, this will have given the council full year cycle. At the moment we will be selecting two new senior infant members. The students council have drawn up a sports rota for yard time and a ‘Yard Buddy’ time-table. These initiatives will be up an running again tomorrow. The students council have made a provisional plan for the year which will include another fun fundraiser like the cake sale we organised last year. Last year the students sent a letter to our Transport Minister asking why it was not necessary for pupils to wear booster seats while on school buses. The Minister’s office has sent our query to the Road Safety Authority and we are awaiting a response. Keep an eye on our future posts for upcoming news, events and updates 🙂
