This week we are learning all about weather in Senior Infants.
We are checking, recording and reporting back on the daily weather in Aistear. We noticed a big difference between outside Vicky’s class and ours. We are also measuring daily rainfall.
We made windmills and they were nearly blown away with Barney.
We read a weather poem and tried to re-create weather sounds using shakers and instruments.
We investigated how the sun creates shadows by making our very own shadow monsters which was great fun! How scary are they….
And finally we made weather stations in Aistear, beautiful weather art pictures from recycled materials and made weather symbols out of playdough.
