Claire’s class got to go to a film premiere today! The Model School in Athy invited neighbouring schools to the first showing of their film, “School Days”, in Athy Community College. The film is being entered in the Fís Film Awards and the school’s 5th and 6th class created the film. The children went to the community school’s cinema (yes, this school has a cinema!) and two girls from the Model School told the children all about their film. After watching the film, which was about a teacher having a dream about a flash mob dance with her class, our class were invited for some drinks and biscuits. The children said they loved the film and we all send a big thank you to the Model School in Athy for a great day.
