Where did September go?

It’s difficult to believe that September’s already gone and we’re getting ready for the longer evenings and getting the heating back on. Thankfully we had a fine September, weather-wise, and the children were able to get outside almost everyday.
This September was an historical month for Carlow Educate Together as we fielded our first ever GAA team. Coached by Erin, Teresa, Vicky and SinĂ©ad, our team have already shown great signs of progress. I’m really proud of all the boys and girls who have been a wonderful example to all the community of Educate Together. They have tried their best, listened to their coaches, kept their heads up when things were difficult on the pitch and displayed impeccable manners at the end of the games. They truly are ambassadors for the school.
This October we’re looking forward to all our after schools’ clubs, which have begun this week. So far, we’re delighted with the response we have. We have amassed some incredible people from a large variety of activities, all of whom are highly skilled and qualified in their talents. Pictured in the newsletter is a lovely photo of our very first club with our infants doing arts and crafts. If you have a special talent, let me know if you want to run a club after the winter break.
In this issue of our newsletter, we’ll be sharing all the news from the last month and lots of information you won’t want to miss!
Until next month, keep happy, safe and learning!
Simon
