Our friend Anthony Negron from the New York Hall of Science beamed into the 5th and 6th class this week via video conference to teach the children all about chemistry. Anthony showed them experiments about matter and the children were able to talk to him about their knowledge of chemistry. This will be particularly useful to our 6th class as they move into secondary school and start learning all about chemistry as a subject in its own right. A big thanks to Anthony for his wonderful support to our school. We’re looking forward to working with him soon on a project involving mobile phones, GPS tracking and the environment!
