We have been learning all about Earth Day in school. It was yesterday, 22nd April. It’s all about taking care of the Earth. I think that some good ways to take care of the Earth are planting trees, recycling, watering the flowers, not littering and not wasting things like food or water. To celebrate Earth Day, one of my friends walked to school. When I’m in 4th class, I’m going to cycle to school. It’s better because you don’t need petrol to walk or cycle! I wrote a poem about Earth Day. Here it is:
The sun is shining in the sky,
Birds are flying around.
Help our Earth!
