Eimear and Caroline s class had great fun at The Visual on Tuesday. They looked at large theatre sets, some marionette puppets and a shadow puppet set. They then wrote a story with some interesting characters and created their own shadow puppets and told their story.

Brilliant day
Our senior classes and integration classes had some really interesting and fun lessons from Ciara O' Hagan and some of her students from SETU Carlow. Ciara had some sports science experiments for the children so they could measure their speed, grip strength, balance, mobility and leg strength. The children measured and recorded their best efforts and were shown how sport scientists might use the data to help them work with different groups of people. Thanks to everyone from the Dept of Health and Sports Science in SETU for all their help during Active Week.

Today we had our World Cup final for 2024. It was a really exciting game with Belgium winning the game 1-0 . It was a great tournament and we had over 150 children take part over the last number of weeks. Thanks to Eoin for organising and all the teachers for refereeing matches. It was a great end to a fantastic active week! Well done to all!
