Some of the children in 2nd class made their Communion over the weekend. All of the children looked very well in their new suits and dresses and their families all looked lovely too! Many of the children had parties with their families at home and some children went to special places with their families. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great but it didn’t seem to dampen their spirits! A number of members of staff of the school went along to see the service and wished the children congratulations on their special day. We hope to bring the parish priest from the church into the school to talk to our children about Communion and why children of the Catholic faith celebrate this rite of passage.
