A big thank you to all the people who gave our school a great big clean before the year begins. A group of volunteers came to the school last Thursday as part of their community awareness scheme. The group consisted of four of our parents, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (who travelled all the way from Dublin) and the lads from JW Tyres, (who shut their business early to help!) Floors were mopped, carpets were hoovered, junk was thrown out and classrooms were cleaned. Before the school opens, we’re also getting our windows washed and fixing up a few little bits and pieces.
