Book Fair

Reminder: Our Book Fair will take place on Monday 19th May – Wednesday 20th May in school. Books will be available for sale from 1:15 for Junior and Infant parents and from 2:15 for rest of school. Please see http://www.celtictravellingbooks.com/for information on book fair.  

Active Weel 2nd Class

Thank You to Simon, Vicky and Eimear for organising active week last week. We really enjoyed it and we are looking forward to the finals of handball and the penalty shoot out tomorrow! Here are some pictures of our week.

Let’s Dance!

As part of Active Week, 1st class had great fun taking part in D.E.A.D (drop everything and dance) all week in class. We loved dropping what we were doing and getting up to dance to lots of different kids dance videos every day.   Here are some photos of our great dancing!    

Art Week Displays

As part of Art Week, we had a competition between the classes as to who could make the nicest display. It was almost impossible to choose a winner as everyone made such a big effort. 1st Class are getting active!

1st class really enjoyed getting active today, as part of Active Week. We had a great handball tournament with 2nd class in the yard and we had lots of fun doing the circuit training in the hall, (although we were very tired afterwards!!) Here we are in action!     

Art Week in 1st Class

1st class had fun during Art Week last week. We really enjoyed drawing in our art pads and looking back over the paintings / drawings we completed in junior infants and senior infants. You should be dancing!

Some of our pupils were very busy over the holidays rehearsing and taking part in a show, at the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, called ‘You Should be Dancing’.  Well done to all the pupils who worked very hard. They have done themselves very proud.
