Breithlá

In Junior Infants this week we were learning all about Breithlá (birthdays) as Gaeilge. As luck would have it we in fact had a birthday girl in our class this week. We played some cluichí and we ate some lovely buns for lón!

Great Googler!

Leanne has got through to the regional finals of the Doodle 4 Google competition.  She has beaten off stiff competition from other children in Carlow and hopefully the judges will now put her through to the national finals in Google headquarters.  Congratulations Leanne!

Creative Gardening

The gardening club and Aisling enjoyed making a Christmas wreath. We used foliage from the local countryside. Laoise was the lucky winner of the draw. She won the wreath that we made.
