February Newsletter is now Published

The February newsletter will be in children’s bags today. You can also see the full colour version on this web site in the Publications section.  There’s lots of news in this month’s edition including important information about the Parent Teacher Meetings and new Board of Management.

Reward Time!!

The children in group support enjoyed visiting The Dome on Monday. It was a reward for their excellent work and behaviour in class so far this term. The children voted to go upstairs where they enjoyed the slides, climbing frame and bouncing castles. Samantha and Clare even had a go on the slides!!

GAA Training

Today our GAA training began in school. Erin and Teresa led the children out to the yard to practice skills. In the next couple of weeks, we hope to bring the children to the GAA club for classes.  These classes will be on Tuesdays until the spring break then continue after this on Wednesdays.

Art Workshop

Friendship Week

Could all children please remember to bring in a photo of themselves. The photos will be collected and used to decorate the school during Friendship Week 5th-9th of March. A huge THANK YOU to the parents who shared their ideas last Friday.

Friendship Stop

In January, our friendship stop arrived in school. A very kind carpenter named Fran worked hard and made the sign for the school, free of charge. We are very thankful for his kindness……  Clare has been busy getting all the equipment needed to decorate it including paint, painbrushes and varnish.  The sign is now at the priming stage and […]
