This week in 3rd Class the children really engaged well with the topic of World War 1. They read the story War Game by Michael Foreman which tells of the infamous ceasefire on Christmas Day where a football match was played between the German and British armies. They explored life in the trenches during the war.
The children also created wonderful projects on the war and presented them back to the class.
The children also enjoyed the new maths station teaching where our aim is to consolidate the weeks learning every Friday in a fun way for the children.
