Our theme for the last fortnight has been “The Zoo” and we had great fun with this in Aistear. We were visitors, zookeepers, the zoo vet, tigers, monkeys, elephants, giraffes and even a zebra who was feeling a little unwell!
We made amazing zoos with our Jaggo blocks.
We read “Dear Zoo” and did a lot of sequencing work remembering the order in which we met all the animals.
We learned to sing “We’re all going to the zoo tomorrow” and discovered that some animals only eat plants, and some animals eat plants and other animals.
