May in Second Class

Second class have been working very hard this month. We have been learning all about length in maths and electricity in S.E.S.E. We measured the length and width of the classroom and P.E Hall. We also had a great day at the school opening, especially the ice cream van! We have also being learning about how electricity gets to our homes. One of the children suggested we try a ‘No Electricity Day’ in school. We all thought it was a great idea and today was our ‘No Electricity Day’. We didn’t use the lights, interactive board or the computers. We compared a classroom from the past with no electricity to our classroom today. We finished our day by playing marbles in the P.E Hall.
