This month, 1st class were learning about light & shadows in one of their science lessons. They took part in an experiment to create shadows themselves, using torches, straws, play-dough and various lines drawn on pieces of paper. They really enjoyed trying to make the shadows of different lengths and directions. Here are some pictures of the experiment.
