Read more »As part of the Carlow Arts Festival, five pupils from Emer’s class went to Visual in the GB Shaw Theatre for a LEGO Robotics workshop. They spent the day designing and creating a robot with 4 other schools. A big thanks to Joanne in IBM, Hugo in Visual and Michelle for accompanying the boys!
Read more »We had a very special visitor this week. Wibbly Wobbly Wendy came to see us. We joined Senior Infants where Wibbly Wobbly Wendy told us a very funny story about ‘The Three Little Pigs’. She also came upstairs to visit us where we played some games. We hope she comes to visit us again!

Read more »Today was Healthy Eating Day and Simon’s smoothies went down a treat! Here are the recipes for two of his smoothies: Berry Breakfast Smoothie and Super Green Smoothie. Read more »The children in 3rd and 4th Class completed a History Test in class today. However, it was a History test with a difference. Instead of using paper, the children completed their tests on a website. Michael created questions including multiple choice questions, short answer questions, True or False questions and spot the difference questions. Every …
Read more »The children in 3rd and 4th class enjoyed a well earned break from class in the park on Tuesday. The children enjoyed creating their own games on the grassy areas and they also took the opportunity to play with the equipment in the playground. We even had time for lunch and a quick ice cream …
Read more »Congratulations to our pupils who successfully took part in First Aid classes after school with Phil Kelly, one of our parents and an officer in the Order of Malta.
