Taispeántas as Gaeilge

Last Friday, to finish off Seachtain na Gaeilge, Claire, Emer and Ciara’s class put together a little taispeántas or “show” as Gaeilge during assembly. Oh Christmas Tree

The Junior Infants are very lucky to have gotten a present of a beautful Christmas tree. We learned about how the tradition of the Christmas tree began during assembly and switched on the lights for the first time. Afterwards, everyone got some decorations to hang on the tree. It looks great!
