Thank you for your Generosity

  Thank you to everybody who bought a friendship bracelet for Friendship Week this year. We raised a total of €156 for Amnesty International. This contribution benefited Guatemalan street children in Covenant House – a social service agency that provides food, shelter and medical services for some of the world’s 100,000,000 street children.

Congratulations Pauric and Eamon!

Congratulations to Pauric and his brother, Eamon who made their First Holy Communion at Killeshin Church on Saturday. They were super on Saturday and they had a lovely day with their family – well done boys!

Fantastic new Art Materials

Thanks to the fundraising ventures in Dunnes Stores, the children were delighted to receive some brand new art equipment in their classrooms. Every teacher ordered materials for their classroom and they will have great use with them for the remainder of the year.

Egypt Project

Adrian’s class are doing a fantastic project on Egype at the moment along with some of the children’s parents in the class. They are making models of pyramids and learning all about Ancient Egypt. Here’s some photos of all their great work!

Coffee Morning and Cake Sale

Student Council Cake Sale Success

The student council hosted a wonderful cake sale for all the children in the school. Parents and staff made lots of buns, cupcakes and other goodies for the sale. Pictured here are the student council before the crowds came and the cakes disappeared!

Seachtain na Gaeilge Assembly

Michael organised a very special Seachtain na Gaeilge assembly today. Children from every class gave a little party piece in Irish to the rest of the school and parents. It was a fantastic assembly and all the children were “go hiontach!”
