Fundraiser for Holy Angels

A group of parents are organsing a Coffee Morning and Shoe and Bag Sale in aid of Holy Angels Respite House in our Parents’ Room, Friday 9th October 9am-11am. They are asking parents for donations of shoes and bags to sell on the day.

Skip Hopping

On Friday we welcomed Lee from Skip Hopping to the school to teach children all about skipping. All the children had a brilliant day and we took some videos to show all the skills that they learned. Here are some pictures and videos.    

5th and 6th Skip Hop

5th and 6th class had an amazing time skipping today. The workshop challenged the children physically and gave their brains a workout too. The kids had to really work together to pull the figure of eight move off. Take a look at them acing it in the video section.

Rang 3 back with a bang!

Rang 3 back with a bang! We have been having great fun seeing all our classmates again, remembering all the things that make a good friend.

Our Senses

Second class have been learning all about their senses this month. We explored all of our senses both inside and outside. We tasted some potatoes and apples and we even investigated if two eyes are better than one with some simple but very fun experiments. Here are some pictures of us hard at work!

The Irish Flag Arrives

The Irish Flag arrived in Carlow Educate Together today with Sgt Larry and Trooper Jessica visiting the children and telling us all about the proclamation.

Builders in 1st Class!

1st class completed some great group work during their art lesson this week. They constructed and painted amazing houses, using cardboard and other recyclable materials. They worked very well together in their building teams!
