Visitor in Michael’s Class

Lee (Kamil’s Dad) came to visit the children in third and fourth class this afternoon to speak to the children about volunteering. He spoke to the children about the various ways he volunteers his time to different organisations around Ireland. Thank you Lee!

3D in 1st Class!

1st class are enjoying taking part in some fun activities this week, as we learn all about 3D shapes.

Making Butter

Last week, 1st class enjoyed learning about how butter was made by churning “in the olden days”! We then made our own butter by shaking jars of cream for aaaaaages!! Here are some photos of us in action!

GOAL!

We had a visit from Louise who works for the charity GOAL! She came in to present the winners of our penalty shootout competition with a prize and she talked to all the school about the work of GOAL. Louise was super with the children and it was a very interactive session.
