Spring at last?

It seems that Spring has finally arrived at Carlow Educate Together. Ciara’s class planted bulbs last October and at long last a snowdrop and a daffodil have appeared. Let’s hope the pot is bursting with Spring flowers when we return from our holidays!

St. Patrick’s Day Preparation

Samantha’s class had a lovely day in school today. We read the  story of St. Patrick, we watched some of last years Dublin parade, we watched a clip from Riverdance and we listened to Irish traditional music while we created our parade buddies during Art.

Numeral creation

Samantha’s class have now learned all the numbers from 1 to 5. To celebrate we created all our numbers by using playdoh. It was lots of fun and we were really good at getting the formation of the numbers right.

Seachtain na Gaeilge

CLEERE play CETNS

Local band CLEERE played a mini concert for our school today.  The kids had a great time.  We wish the band the best of luck in their upcoming gig in the George Bernard Shaw Theatre later this month.
